Noel Greenhalgh
Managing Director
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Noel came out to Australia to play soccer for Brisbane City in 1987. It was during his playing days where he met his wife, Maria Alati. Maria's father Nick Alati, bought RW Pascoe in 1977. He asked Noel to join the company numerous times but Noel declined as he didn't like the idea of early starts. Eventually he agreed and came to work with Nick.
Noel started as a labourer in the warehouse putting orders together but quickly found his calling in sales. He started on the sales floor and his natural talent for selling flourished. Noel took over as Principal of RW Pascoe when his father-in-law passed away in 1997. Affectionately known as 'Irish', Noel has become an institution at Pascoes and the Brisbane markets. Growers and buyers alike will admit his enthusiasm and passion for the fresh produce industry is infectious. Noel sees a bright future for the central markets.
